    But it is related to oil companies just doing things without enough consideration for how things can go wrong while dealing with a substance that can cause a huge mess when they do go wrong.

      This isn’t an oil company though. It’s a local paving company… It was a landslide, government should of stepped in immediately and sent the company a bill for remediation.

        Yeah I should have just said most corporations. It’s just like the rail companies with their accidents. Maximizing profits these days involves taking on a bunch of risk for more reward, but it’s all just financial risk to them while random people and animals in their vicinity taking on the real risk.
