That is not solar punk.
Solar punk is a peaceful vision of the future in harmony with the planetary boundaries.
This is militaristic fantasy with more of the color green than usual.
I can’t argue with you, but the artwork is so cool I want to imagine it being used by an environmental collective to defend a forest or something, right at the beginning of the solarpunk revolution. Like this shit is all built out of recycled and repurposed farming equipment.

Yeah, the artwork is good, but it is a miss in terms of solarpunk. It’s like re-skinned Mad Max, or Battletech.
Lol I was going for a mad max theme when I saw “punk” lol
Today I learned, I just saw the sub and assumed. Thank you for the lesson!
All good. It’s easy to misunderstand, when cyberpunk is the best known (and oldest by far) genre that uses the *punk.
As I understand it, the punk is always anti corporate. In the dystopian cyberpunk, that normally means criminal and violent.
In the utopia that is the solarpunk genre, anti corporate means community and strongly social behaviour.
Punk is just defiance against establishment. It can be corporate, governmental, military or something else entirely
More Bob Ross less Mad Max, got it lol.
I’ll give it another go with my new found understanding at some point.

Also using AI to generate solarpunk imagery is almost the complete opposite of solarpunk.
