This one came out really good! It’s kind of a happy medium between the other two! Just slightly less crispy than the mayo, but not nearly as oily as the ghee, but still very savory and flavorful!

My final verdict is that specifically in an air fryer salted butter is king!

Runner ups are mayo for best texture, and ghee for most intense flavor, but butter is the total package lol

    If anyone wants to recreate any of these I used Duke’s mayonnaise, 4th & Heart unsalted ghee butter, and Minerva sea salt salted butter

    The bread was Publix bakery round sourdough

    The cheese was Publix swiss and Publix sharp cheddar pre sliced

    All three sandwiches were made in an air fryer set to 370F for 8 minutes flipped halfway through, then another 2 minutes at 400F for extra crispiness
