I love how she puffs to show she means business and then just launches herself into the attack. Even though that eagle was huge, they were not going to get an easy meal!

It seems this isn’t all too uncommon between these 2 species. Eagles try to pick off the owls during the day, and the GHO takes its shot at the Eagles at night. Mr Eagle got nailed 2 days in a row by this GHO.
To be fair, the GHO family is technically squatting in the eagle’s nest! 😅

I love how she looks right at the camera afterwards like, “Did you see that!”
