As for the tabs on the top, it is in fixed width if it is draggable since if it just expanded while draggable, it would cause overflow issues on the webpage. If you fix it on the top, it would resize/overflow depending on the screen size.
Also, the resize only works on the textareas, not the whole editor.

Ok. I’m not using it 99%of the time anyway so it doesn’t really matter. What program are you using to test different screen sizes?
@eatham @VioneT is using Devtools, it has an option to simulate different screen sizes.
