Where are some good places to read manga online? My regional library doesn’t seem to have very much in terms of digital resources.

Honestly I looked into it and they… kinda suck.

        Here’s a few I know:

        • Manga UP!
        • Viz Manga
        • Crunchyroll Manga
        • Tapas
        • WEBTOON
        • Shonen Jump Manga
        • INKR (Made by the people who made Manga Rock)

Disappointing! I guess they aren’t quite ad easy to find as ebooks might be? But thank you for the list- it’s good to know where to look for things.

Licensing is still not the best. I buy most of my ebook volumes through kobo books. So far everything I have wanted to buy has been on there, but your mileage my vary, since there isn’t a real “one stop shop”.

As much as they are a bloodsucking crapping-on-the-world-to-make-a-dollar corporation, Amazon’s Kindle Unlimited and Comixology Unlimited subscription options have a lot of manga available for not much money a month.

The only thing to keep in mind is that there are some groups who have boycotted Mangadex (largely, because Mangadex didn’t want certain inflammatory commentary in uploads)

Man, I wish mangaplus would invest some time to improve the frontend.

They intentionally overwrite all default behavior of keyboard presses and create event listeners for “ArrowDown” and “ArrowTop” (instead of “ArrowUp”, which makes this non-functional lol, this bug has been there for 3 years at least) for going to next and previous page. Why not do the thing that literally every online reader app does - leave the defaults alone (arrows up/down for slow scroll) and set arrows left/right for page control?
