The West Kildonan Library was built in 1967. Improvements are required so the library can continue to meet the community’s needs into the future. The City is assessing the building to understand what improvements are needed and how much they will cost. It will look at:
I’ll also admit that I’m guilty of thinking of Winnipeg as my local community without regard to Manitoba. Which is funny, since I grew up in rural MB. I’ll try to be better about it :)
I grew up rural, too - that’s one of the reasons I agreed to take on moderation of the community. It would be nice to get some more non-Winnipeg discussion going.
Yep. For now, best to help the communities be as good as they can be, so they’re appealing to new users as they trickle in. The long game ain’t always fun.
