On March 14, commuters will be reimbursed their single-ride TTC fare when transferring to and from GO Transit. Additionally, TTC riders will also be able to use their free two-hour transfer to and from other municipal transit agencies.

    These are HUGE changes! People living or working along Steeles Ave. or near the 427 have been essentially paying double for transit. The “TTC times two” never made sense to me, this is way better and makes transitting a convenient and straightforward choice for commuters.

      Yeah, it translates to quite a bit of money per year. For some it straight up halves the cost of commuting.
