    There is typically a lot more touching involved than movies and TV would have you believe. Usually it’s okay to touch hips/legs/arms but not the naughty bits unless you pay more for it (usually first by paying extra to get into some form of “VIP” area).
    Dry humping is pretty much exactly what it is. Also these same places are often notorious for offering “extras” which can range widely to pretty much anything.

        For lots of reasons the odds of the cop being a legitimate client seem more likely than a sting. Extra doesn’t necessarily mean sex, it could be get more naked, let you touch more, longer dances, they can get very creative.
        I think “full-on prostituting” is less prevalent than your imagining. Even if it were more common, for context most of those strip mall Asian massage places are actual full-on prostituting and they stay in business for quite a while.
