Hopefully, like me, you’ll have booked a bit of time off around the festive period. And coincidentally, Valve’s Winter Steam Sale kicked off just a couple of days before Christmas. Since so many of us and our friends are off, this marks the perfect time of year to dip your toe into the wonderful world of co-operative games.

    Some more: Ship of Fools - 2 player roguelite that has you blasting sea creatures from a pirate ship

    Out Of Space - 4 player arcadey space station cleaning similar to Moving Out. Aliens drop goo all over the place and if you leave it, more aliens spawn. Can get very frantic.

    Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands - D&D Borderlands. If you enjoy the BL style, this is more of the same.

    We Were Here series - 2 player co-op puzzle games that predate It Takes Two. Kinda janky but there’s a lot of them if it’s up your alley.

    I think Lethal Company has gotten a lot of coverage lately, but we’ve been playing a bunch of it and it’s gotten lots of laughs. Very fun.

      Most games tend to work on Linux these days which is nice. The only one I know personally works is lethal company though.
