Still some doing that today imho, but of course some people really are Bi.
There was much more of a mystique about one’s sexuality.
Even today, I sometimes get asked if I’m really bi or not. Date and (and sometimes had sex) with half a dozen women. Look at feminine porn/yiff almost exclusively, but date a single guy and suddenly “hmmmm” lol. I get that it’s harder for older generations. But is it really that hard to believe that people can really date anyone and that what’s in their pants doesn’t matter? x3
