    My dad bought 6 Big Mouth Billy Basses. As an investment. He thought they would be worth something someday- which, surprise, they are not. He had multiple similar ‘investments’ which we sold off for very little when he died. He wasn’t stupid, he was a distinguished university professor. He just had bizarre ideas of what things would be valuable in the future.
