CUPE 882 members representing the inside workers at the City of Prince Albert have voted 81% in favour of accepting the tentative agreement.

    Improved working conditions by piloting a 5-4-5-4 work schedule

    I think this would be a great intermediate step for various unionized workplaces to implement, which would pave the way to making this a standard everywhere and follow it eventually into a 4 day workweek.
