I love that with the new lemmy update you can block instances if your instance doesn’t defederate, and it’s hilarious to me that the blocked instance still sees your content, but you don’t see theirs.
So every time I make fun of them, I know I’m getting a ton of replies, but I don’t have to see any of them. They’re screaming into the wind and they get so angry when you point this out, I’ve had people swap to a new instance just to copy and paste comments like I’m not just going to ignore that too.
Without going into too much detail as my memory is a bit shit, they were going around doing hexbear things and collectively we just kinda told them no and ignored them. This upset them and they defederated and we just went “ok.”
They defederated us because we didn’t fold to their nonsense, I think we’re safe.
