      I’m aware of the outcome in Australia which came after amendments that allowed Facebook to choose which companies it worked with. I personally found it concerning that it resulted in Facebook having the keys to choose which publishers they would pay or block, rather than having to pay for all news shared. That’s my understanding and am open to correction if I’m missing something.

      Ultimately, Australia passed the law, Facebook turned off news, and only turned it back on after gaining ground on immendments.

        So…They’re now offering news in Australia and paying Australian news networks for it? What’s the problem?
