    Ugh, no. Outside of Apple, most of this stuff was a sticky yellow mess in short order, and even Apple’s stuff didn’t always age well.

    If I wanted an era back, it’d the mid to late 1980s that gave us Apple’s Snow White era machines, as well as the IBM PS/2, the Commodore 64 (second version) and 128, Compaq’s early stuff and suchlike. Even if it went yellow, it cleaned up nicely.

    It is better than the late 90s beige era, ort he painted silver plastic of the late aughts and early teens.

      I’ve seen plenty of yellowing, but the only stickiness I’ve seen is with rubber. Cables and the like.

      There’s plenty of modern plastic types (including clear ones) that don’t cloud or yellow from UV exposure nearly as bad.
