A Sky News visual investigation shows a building in Deir al Balah was hit one day after civilians were told they could flee to the city. Israel says it struck military targets in the area that day. The UN told Sky News that such strikes had "no rationale".
Who exactly are you going to negotiate with in Gaza if not Hamas? They control the government and the military(militants) at the moment, and have for 15 years.
Israel gave Gaza a chance, in the early 2000s, withdrew everyone including settlers and military, backed right off, and in retaliation Hamas took power and started attacking immediately at which point Israel locked it all down harder.
Why the hell should Israel be the one to back off first this time? If Israel do back off, and Hamas attacks again, would then Israel have justification crushing them? Or is Israel just supposed to allow attacks with no repercussions until it’s “even”?
