@frostbiker@Bizarroland Almost everyone who uses a car can reduce their use and when people who were conditioned as children to take for granted the use of cars for virtually every trip get out and start experiencing the American built environment outside of cars they quickly start calling for changes to said built environment and the policies that reinforce it.
