nipiy (ᓂᐱᕀ) is the cree word for water, while ôtênaw (ᐆᑌᓇᐤ) means city.
Very cool. It is nice to hear some first-nations music that doesn’t fall into heavy rock or hiphop. Not that I think there is anything wrong with those genres!
