Not really sure if that is entirely just a RB thing, see Bottas. I think it’s just that top Teams don’t really want two extraordinary drivers. The want one extraordinary one and a great one. And if you’re the great one I think it’s mentally very tough once you realize that hard work will never get you the same result as that little bit of extra inate talent, and that the team will never support you in the same way.
