The current naming rights agreement won’t be renewed when it ends on Dec. 31, and the renaming will coincide with the City of Saskatoon's plans to merge SaskTel Centre and TCU Place in early 2027.

So SaskTel Centre (formerly Credit Union Centre and before that Saskatchewan Place) and TCU Place, formerly known as Centennial Auditorium are merging and getting a new name… This won’t confuse anyone at all (I say as someone who is frequently confused by all the names).

    I feel so old, it feels like only a few years ago that Centennial Auditorium became the TCUP not over 20!

    And I hear you about the name changes “damn you capitalism!”
