It’s just me - no car, no friends, and very little money! 🙂

I’ve got volunteering covered (per my previous post) but I’m just looking to get out of the house more and get comfortable with exploring the city on my own as I’m kind of a recluse.

I live quite far down in the southeast so I’m hoping whatever you suggest will be transit accessible and easy to get to.

Thank you!

Pretty much. Your two feet, so long as you’re physically able, is the cheapest way to see interesting stuff. The weather (cold right now) will make it easier or harder… but essentially the hill supposedly has a nice view over the downtown area.

If you take that big nasty staircase that’s North of Memorial drive, that downtown view is great, too.

I like wandering the shops in Inglewood, although it’s a pretty long walk from the nearest train station.

I haven’t been to the Glenbow in forever, but it was pretty fun to look at, back in the day.

I’ve been meaning to go to the Glenbow museum for a while now but every time I check for it on google it’s still closed! I was told it’s indefinitely shut down or something.

I just googled. It’s being renovated. So, Hmm… I guess not.
