When I was in high school that episode of Nova was on where those guys built trebuchets in the English countryside for fun. I thought it was awesome and started planning to build a model version.

Unfortunately, my dad caught me and demanded to know what I was doing. Then made me watch the episode with him. Then took over the project and built his own goddamn trebuchet out of hardwood.

I mean, it’s a goddamn masterpiece. It comes up to my knees. It can easily lob a rock across the whole property and into the next yard.

Anyway that was a long, boring aside just to say my trebuchet aim is pretty good.
