This kind of thing festers like a disease and before we know it the entire community is full of Kremlin trolls, bigots and dangerous conspiracy theorists. Seen quite a few instances like this recently. I hate it.
IIRC kbin allows users to ban instances, so even if those don’t defederate they can be made to “go away” for individual users. Maybe Lemmy will get that ability too, it seems like a good idea.
