Firaxis are bringing one of the "most requested" features to Civilization 7 - the chance to bypass the Age system and play as one Civ all the way through.

So, I wasn’t interested in the new mechanic of switching civilizations multiple times throughout the game and I’m glad they added an option to turn that off. However, are the other prominent mechanics of the game different or improved (although that might be too subjective) enough from 6 for me to give it a try, or should I just stick to 6 for now?
Then is there a point in switching from 6?
Afaik the last age is still not included, so no Giant Death Robot, I’m still waiting.
Well. Like any game vs. software release, this is not an uodate, just a new game. A different interpretation of Civ game concept.
Is there a point? Yes if you want to play this new game. If you like cov6, then no.
