At the end of the day, the article whines about crazy people taking over the party (valid!), but the problem still isn’t the platform (or lack thereof) or political actions–the problem is that “boring” republicans are scared off. But the boring ones have still been working like crazy to axe abortion, LGBTQ rights, immigrant rights, workers rights, public programs, education, and libraries. At this point, the only reason to be in the party is for the drama. And this article is still blind to that.
