I already have a Canadian company hosting my domain and random emails; I create a new email for every service I signup for which forwards to another address so that I do not get junk mail, one address starts spamming me I can just turn off the address. Then I have my ISP’s email address which I am thinking of leaving, but this is all besides the point. I am stuck on my iPad and iPhone because of family things, does anyone know of a non US mail app to replace my iOS mail app, I want to stay away from proton? I have replaced Safari with Vivaldi no complaints, it works along side my piholes at blocking ads, I have almost replaced Reddit with Lemmy, I have replaced YouTube with Unwatched, I am in the process of moving my media to Jellyfin, I have replaced Apple’s media store with a bunch of arr apps, and I am replacing all my Apple computer devices with raspberry pi’s.
Are you still using spark? It was less expensive for me to move my blog to a .ca address and Canadian host (host hero, I think) and get the email option added to the package then it was for me to keep my .com address with Wordpress and the hide my email with Apple. Sure it is not as easy for me to create random email addresses but at least I know what they are going to and easier to find (site name).(random word)(three random numbers)@reannlegge.ca. I am also in the process of moving all my passwords off of Apple’s keychain and moving to 1Password, sure I do not like needing to reenter my master password once every 14 days but that is the one exception I have for my continued use of Key chain. Sure 1Password costs money where Apple’s keychain is free with your apple device, I am still paying less.
If you’d replied to my comment instead of the thread i’d gotten a notification, this might be why no one else responded to you. But yes I still use spark. My main email is proton and I use their own app, but I use spark on my android to access my icloud email.
Huh, I wonder why my app did that.
