    i expect republicants to go ‘nuclear’ and get rid of the filibuster right away, at least for the upcoming session. they don’t need two-thirds or even just 60 votes to do that.

    they’ll pass anything and everything they want, confirm appointments of anyone they want, without regard to opposition from anyone… all with a simple majority.
