I’d be pissed and grappling with grief and anger if the country that was supposed to be rescuing them, had no intention of rescuing them because of political reasons and had killed more of the hostages than the their captors.
In fact I’d probably be even more upset that the country they belong to has a directive to kill their own people rather than let them be taken hostage because concessions and trades would have to take place if Hamas had hostages.
