Vancouver's Animal Services told Global News Friday that the owner of a large dog who fled after a smaller dog was fatally mauled, has neither come forward nor been identified.

    Lots of people blaming the lady for running, but I don’t blame her at all.

    It’s shitty to not be able to see any justice done, but our system has no tolerance for dangerous dogs.

    If someone were going to kill my dog I would run to.

    Maybe if our system had a different way of dealing with dangerous dogs she may have stayed.
