Cubans are embracing electric bicycles and scooters assembled by local builders from Chinese parts. More than 23,000 have already been sold.

    I was in Cuba recently and it’s very bizarre their transit. Lots of tuk tuks and ancient cars with newer parts. Had a taxi ride from Varadero to my hotel and they spliced in a newish entertainment system into an old convertible from the 50s. Even horse drawn carriages share the streets with ancient motorcycles, scooters, and so on.
