If the goal of taking shrooms is to forget about what’s happening around the world despite our human potential or the pain of every day life; might I recommend something like meth or heroin instead?

Shrooms at this point will probably just open your mind up to the really dark thoughts you’re subconsciously suppressing and make you more depressed. Tripping on shrooms isn’t something that heals you, it’s the changes you make after the trip that matter.

Also, I’m kidding about doing meth or heroin. Don’t.

The point is - if the 2/3 or more of us not radicalized find solidarity, his presidency ends

Better late than never, I guess, but the time for action and solidarity was before the election. Trump has never made a secret of his plans, and the world witnessed just how fractured America is with his re-election.

The first election of Trump, I believe, was a fuck you to the establishment. I would never have rallied behind the piece of shit, but I could at least understand what was happening. His re-election was a fuck you to the rest of the world, including Americans.

The world is looking at the general apathy of Americans and waiting for them to do something about it. It’s an uphill fight but Americans haven’t even gotten into the ring yet.

Especially when you realize that March 15 is a Saturday.

No doubt this was organized by a Monday-Friday worker who would face no repercussions for this. It just screams “I want to do something without sacrificing anything” while expecting those working weekends to likely sacrifice their jobs and stability. Most people work Monday to Friday. Do it during the week for maximum effect.

I support the idea behind it but until people stop waiting for others to make the sacrifice nobody is mobilising. Even then it’ll be hard to convince people. If somebody wants others to make a sacrifice and stand behind the cause then they should be setting the example and making that sacrifice first. I haven’t really been seeing that.
