I’ve never heard soft but I’ve heard hypocritical. Tom morello comes from a wealthy background and went to Harvard, the band censored themselves on tv when asked to do so, they live in gated communities and run elbows with the people who run the machine they are raging against, and they came out and supported Hillary Clinton (who is the definition of the machine). Myself and others aren’t saying they should’ve supported trump (who is also apart of the machine), but they should have called for more grassroots political candidates and supported them.

  • First off, truth != sexism. So what I said is not sexist.

How’s that sexist? Women have every opportunity (and in most cases because of preferential hiring, better opportunities) to do these dirty and dangerous jobs, but they don’t? Because of some abstract loosely defined notion that is the “patriarchy”? I bet if I said women aren’t as good of golfers as men your “Cis white man self” would somehow blame the patriarchy.

  • While making striking illegal sounds pretty much like slave labor, I wish there was a way teachers could strike and kids could still be getting educated at the same time. It’s unfair for the teachers but it’s even more unfair to the students and parents who were relying on the state to provide them an education through their tax dollars.

Maybe a good way to put the burden back on the state would be for the parents to file lawsuits against the state for not providing an education for their kids. Any lawyers out politicians here know if this is a legitimate option?
