I was a web developer for a few years, WordPress killed the joy I had. Every update could break something because the client wanted a website, but also wanted to use WordPress, so we had to customize the hell out of each install.

I burned out about 5 years ago, and I haven’t even been able to work on my side projects.

I work in retail, a large number of the people I work with don’t speak fluent English, add to that, door dash shoppers that don’t speak English. Having a heads up translation and pronunciation guide would be killer!

Back in the 90s I was trying cross-stitching, but it took too much concentration for not that much result, but diamond painting is easier to pick up and put down for a while.
