I’m just acknowledging the difference from 100 years (and 1 day) ago.

I’m not claiming everything is sunshine and rainbows now and completely agree that there are still problems impacting minority groups at higher proportions along with racism in every crack of society. Here in Kalamazoo and the rest of the country. No PR, I have no ties to the democrat party. Just sharing history and information.

I share a link to a site. My instance generates a preview card and caches it, then my post gets federated to 5k additional servers, but only the URL, not the cached preview card. So other instances generate their own preview cards and cache them.

Individual viewers are not necessarily creating extra traffic, but each instance is.
