Victim? He did something he knew was illegal. How is he the victim in any way? Should it be illegal? I dunno, but it is. That’s the end of it.

Dismissing something just because it’s digital is pretty stupid.
I think the sentence is very extreme but there are a LOT of crimes and maybe serious ones that can be summed up to “did stuff with ones and zeros”.
That sounds really stupid for them. Why send out ads if you are gonna force the customer to spend a bunch of time to consume the ad?
This is absolutely a fucking joke.
Maybe, it would depend on how the front ends work with how they get content and so on.
Either way I doubt they care much about that data. I would bet they would bet they would rather get rid of those users.
Impossible to corrupt. Impossible to monopolize
You would be surprised.
How often do you get capchas?
It doesn’t happen often at all for me.
I don’t use third party clients but I thought that the entire point of them was that you don’t use an account.
I doubt the really big advertisers (the only ones that maybe can negotiate) think that’s enough statistics.
Alright, I don’t use google.com
Edit: this was in reply to someone. I guess my app fucked up the reply.
the site
What site?
I assume it’s up to the website owner to implement V3 and not Google. V3 also has puzzles but only when it’s not sure. I rarely see capchas so I don’t really have anything to complain about.
I don’t think any of the cargo bikes posted are cool at all. And while I don’t know a lot about E-bikes (I subconsciously think they are kinda cheating) I searched for a little bit for a bike I think looked decent.
This is probably my favourite design after a few minutes of research.
I like the simplicity and the straight edges. I also like the futuristic designs companies usually like put out, even when people love to bash them.
BF1 also has a really great soundtrack made by the same people.
V3 of the Google one doesn’t always show a puzzle to you. In fact it’s designed to not be noticed by users at all. Whether that is successful or not is a different discussion.
Nothing doesn’t offer RGB Glyph lights, so I took matters into my own hands
You mean buying an existing product?
I don’t know, it just works for me.
I use duckduckgo exclusively. It happens that I occasionally switch to Google (which is btw very easy with “!g”) but that pretty much never solves my problem.
I always wake up with space and I have had that problem once. That was on a PC that was installing using PXE.
Otherwise my PC is pretty much always locked if the screen has gone to sleep.
Does it need to be private?
Self checkout is just way quicker. No need to look down and essentially think that there is something wrong with people that prefer the quicker and more convenient option.
Also interactions with cashiers are extremely superficial anyways so either I take off my headphones and say a few words about nothing or i can just keep them on listening to good music while I have to shop for some bullshit.
I value time over superficial interactions.
