lexcynto CanadaPolitics•Poilievre’s ‘anti-elite’ Tories stack top council with corporate lobbyists ⋆ The Breach18·2 years agoSo basically pro-elite then. Hopefully Canadian’s see through this absolute scam of a party.
This has to be the most poorly written article I’ve read. Where are the sources? What’s with the “umms” and “errs”? Don’t take any of this seriously.
I got one too. I have a LifeLabs online account so I assume that’s how they got my e-mail.
lexcynto Android@lemdro.id•Samsung announces One UI 6 beta with Android 14, then deletes it | 9to5GoogleEnglish16·2 years agoI used to hate Samsung’s previous design, but OneUI isn’t that bad and ads some genuinely better things than stock Android. That being said, I do miss some of the simplicity of stock, plus the genuine speed/responsiveness that it brings.

lexcynto Android@lemmy.world•Pro Tip: Bypass news paywalls using the new "Reading Mode" app by GoogleEnglish2·2 years agoThere are some sites that I can’t figure out how to bypass, for example thelogic.co. The full article doesn’t seem to load unless you pay/log in and no matter what I’ve tried it doesn’t work.
To be fair pretty much all comments on any news article are like this lol

+1 for Aegis, that’s what I use.

lexcynto Ontario•Road trips lose power as charger outages leave northern Ontario EV drivers stranded10·2 years agoIt looks like NACS (or the Tesla connector) is now going to be the common standard. Most automakers have now committed to switching. And at least the SAE is fast tracking making it a standard. Yes, we will have to put up with dongles for a couple of years, but I think this is the best move.
lexcynto Ontario•Ontario starts pre-development work for new, large-scale nuclear plantEnglish11·2 years agoThis is excellent news!!
Honestly. I tried using the app the other day and for some reason its SO laggy. It’s only the official app that does this too, I did not have this problem with Apollo or Sync.
lexcynto Ontario•‘The dog days of summer’ are here, says Environment Canada climatologist, as Ontario enters its first heat wave of the seasonEnglish5·2 years agoI can tell you up here in Sudbury the heat has been absolutely brutal. It was 28 degrees at 10:30am this morning, and right now my outdoor thermometer reads 37 degrees in the sun. 🥵
Isn’t that his plan, though, to make us all stoned and drunk as much as possible to ignore what he’s doing to our province?
What is a ‘median’ family, though? We have 2 kids under 10 and let me tell you groceries ain’t cheap.
I don’t see how the overall rate could decline with grocery prices increasing 9.1%… our overall buying power is still that much lower. I thought I made decent money but not with what’s going on out there now.
Yeah the website doesn’t show it but the PurpleAir map does if you go there… you can also switch to the US EPA 2.5 scale and others as well.
These have both been in stock for a while… or at least, I ordered a 7900XTX last week and I never saw it go out of stock.
