Interesting concept: no heaven or hell. The afterlife is living your life all over again, but from the “perspective” of everyone you ever interacted with. Beat up some guy on the streets when you were 23? Guess who will be waiting for you on that faithful day, when you’re 23. On the other hand, if you were beaten up when you were 21, your revenge will come. 21 years after your death, perhaps, but it will come. Same for good experiences. That good thing you did? Shall be done unto you in the afterlife

  • So, if I want the full experience (or at least what I assume was the original intended experience), I ought to go with shorts. How does the aspect ratio affect things? Does it have any impact over the content or experience, vertical vs horizontal? I did once watch several episodes or seasons (probably full screen, due to being on a laptop), but honestly forgot where I stopped. Probably due to a lack of memorability for each episode, given the story is usually quite similar (the ongoing war)

  • Is the audience for it not here or does the audience not find smaller communities? I for one just browse whatever loads up on Jerboa, and created an account mainly to have some control over what I see (i.e., blocking stuff I’m not interested in). I don’t know that I’d find smaller communities if they don’t get more popular or popular communities get less active to the point of these smaller communities showing up. I don’t know that I can search for anything but communities (on Jerboa, at least). Is there even a search for general, idk, posts and stuff? Not denying maybe the audience isn’t here. Just think maybe finding smaller communities isn’t as easy (or maybe it’s just me, idk. I’m not even looking for specific communities, tbh. Lemmy is my “eh, I’m not doing nothing right now. Imma just check this app on my phone”)

First I heard of Stevenson, was probably on the EDM subreddit. Someone posted a video mixing between Go Like (DnB mix) and Like That, under the title “There is no such thing as a perfect transit…” or similar.

Anyways, if you like Stevenson, maybe check… idk, San Holo, Alison Wonderland, Krewella. All electronic musicians normally involved with writing, producing, and performing their songs. Not sure if those are good picks for Fox Stevenson fans, but I like them as well (Holo is in the list above, and Wonderland was my #1 most heard in 2022), and I don’t know whether I’m good at recommending stuff, so… if you do check them out, or already know them, let me know! Nice to have feedback

I can suggest my top 5 most heard artists of 2023:

    • 100 gecs
    • Lola Indigo
    • San Holo
    • Fox Stevenson
    • Hannah Diamond

I reckon the selection is rather diverse. Depending on which you like, if any, I can recommend more stuff like it (or you can check the section for “fans of this also like those” on the artist page on Spotify, assuming you have Spotify).

    I wonder what comment could’ve prompted a F1NN name-drop on Lemmy…

Edit: for context, the comment above yours, and the one above it, do not appear to me. Not sure if it is just me…

Edit2: Nevermind. I opened the post, from Jerboa, on the web instead, and the comments show
