Coming from a part of the world where medical care is heavily for-profit in an impoverished country, it will be only accessible to those willing to pay for it in Lamborghini dollars.

Sleepless.
I’m guessing either something that stopped him from going to sleep has to do. Or meth.
Not surprised but fuck that motherfucker.
Seeking either the biggest payoff for the seller or the cheapest price for the buyer.
It’s like the unstoppable force meeting an immovable object.

https://business.inquirer.net/407127/biz-buzz-remolona-drops-us-citizenship
After spending a good part of his illustrious career on foreign soil—14 years at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and 19 years at the Bank for International Settlements, among others—newly appointed Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Eli Remolona was ready to return to the Philippines and contribute what he can to nation-building.
Remolona was so serious about his intent to give back to the country that he gave up his American citizenship with the help of Finance Secretary Benjamin Diokno, a colleague from their early days at the School of Economics of the University of the Philippines.
Like many Filipino professionals based abroad, Remolona held dual citizenship. But now, he is solely a Filipino citizen.
Some people would call him crazy to give up what they thought is the ultimate privilege card. However, it remains to see how well he would perform as the new BSP chief.
May gumawa na naman ng “Nagsisisi na Filipino ka?” thread sa kabila. 😅

Saso, a 22-year-old Filipino-born Japanese star who won the 2021 US Women’s Open, birdied the par-5 18th to match Yin for the lead at 7-under on the rain-soaked layout at Springfield, New Jersey.
Oh. :(
pati na rin sa local TV, especially GMA.
And radio.
Have to remind myself that one’s irritant maybe another person’s sense (and quality level) of humor.
It’s a double-edged sword.
Trying to regulate will be an impossible task in that personal irresponsibility, susceptibility to scams (like fake THC oils and unbelievable health claims), and escapism (due in part by poverty and despair) are chronic national problems. Then there will be employers complaining about absentee employees, as well as the potential for getting into accidents. For legalization, a complex collection of rules and regulations will have to be produced, but enforcement will be a nightmare.
Chronic should be hit by those who are responsible enough, and knowing when it’s time to put down the tooter.

What the militant Mainlander power fantasies look like: beat Murica with a tank.
Looked up and I said, “what the hell?”
Seriously, it’s very tough to be a public personality, and as such, either she still have to brace against online hateful statements, or hire someone to handle her social media presence, or do not have social media presence at all.
Pansin ko lang, nag nose dive na moderation sa rph. I don’t know if it’s just me but the posts are all over.
Yeah. Kaumay nga eh.
There are people there who want escapism due to how things are now. So they come up with casual low-effort content, thinking it’s fun than reading depressing or infuriating news headlines. Coping mechanism nila… as if r/casualPH wasn’t big enough.
A successful streaming service needs more bandwidth. If the service is faltering it’s because either the app is poorly designed or their media servers cannot keep up with consumer demand. Much like how our telco-ISPs are “oversubscribed”.
The hell we’re getting MLB fandom crossposts?
