1 year agoWorked service industry/customer service/retail adjacent jobs my whole life where I was on my feet 8+ hours a day and couldn’t sit because sitting = not working to these ghouls, and even with arch support/insoles or whatever the fuck, still was sore and tired constantly.
Landed a remote job a few months ago with enough down time that allows me to go to the gym every other day and hey would you look at that all of my foot and back pain is gone wow it’s like human beings weren’t meant to be in one position for a third of the day what a fucking concept
I just wanted an environment away from the redditification that the rest of the internet has become. Sticking to local instances is kinda helping until one of those fucking goobers comes in with their welll akshully bullshit
