When they first announced audiobooks I was so excited, only to realize I would have to buy individual books. Felt strange when the whole value proposition of Spotify is you don’t have to buy every individual song you want to listen to. I guess sales of audiobooks were low enough they felt pressured to modify it somehow.
15 free hours a month is basically equivalent to audibles one book credit a month. Obviously I would prefer unlimited access to their whole audiobook library, but I feel like this is a decent compromise.
Just so there is some variety I’ll nominate Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Something short and light to work out the kinks for the thread format.
All these other suggestions sound good so far though. Whatever works I’ll probably be adding them to my backlog.
I am interested if only to help pick out which audiobook I listen to next on my commute.
I think we would need to do some kind of poll for the pace people would want. A chapter a week, a book a month, or something in between?
A few hundred might be underselling it a bit. In the brief time I’ve been researching this I was mostly looking at the lectric brand bikes, which start around $800 USD.
I’ve seen some for several thousands but wasn’t really considering those since this won’t be a daily driver and I’m already paranoid about getting the cheaper one stolen.
I don’t live in a big city, closer to suburbia but not quite as sprawling as it gets in some parts of the country. We don’t have security guards outside any stores really.
Bike locks offering insurance is interestung, I’ll have to look into that!
I’ve been replacing sour cream with plain full fat Greek yogurt. It’s not as good, but in a burrito it is an as adequate substitute.
Also my sour cream would always go had before I finish it but I always have yogurt in the house so it solves that issue for me
You are creating a galvanic cell so if it gets wet you will definitely get corrosion. Luckily the aluminum parts are the ones that are more anodic and corrode so you wouldn’t be ruining the frame.
If the lubricant isn’t conductive it would at least help.
