This is why the protest are getting more serious and the government responses more draconian.
Government is too busy protecting the fossil fuel industry to ever acknowledge that we are in trouble.

For me this is no longer a climate emergency, it is the arrival of the apocalypse and sadly protesting will achieve little other than allowing some to say “I told you so!”.

They should build a big monolith out of all the excess bales and turn it into a tourist attraction. You could call it :-
