Personally I do want chris Smith to play. Dude isn’t the fastest but has great ball instincts. He could end up being the ball hawking safety we need.

Yeah I’m not ready to give up on the kid either, but he does need to work on his accuracy. Too many high balls. Too many missed opportunities with guys open and he just didn’t make the good throw today. The bomb to Adams gave me hope. His arm is better than we thought. I’d like to test that more next week vs KC.

Pretty good. That was the best defensive game in 20 years considering the opposing offense. Offensively i wasn’t a fan of the play calling today. I thought they asked the rookie to do too much instead of leaning on JJ. But it gives me hope that this team is on its way.

I’m with you on this one. AP looks like a Raiders coach. He carries himself like one. X’s and O’s are important but they’re not everything. Sometimes charisma and leadership can outweighs that. And I also don’t think AP is ignorant of x’s and o’s either. He was a MLB for a super bowl team. The captain and qb of that Giants defense. He understands coverages and offensive schemes. For me, i wamt to see him beat Miami AND kc once. If he can do that, he should get the job. Getting us competitive with kc is a huge step up imo. This season feels different. It feels like 2021 but without us needing lucky breaks in the last 3 games. The guys are playing inspired ball and I think if they win tomorrow that could carry them into the playoffs with the confidence it builds.

Jimmy G ain’t playing tomorrow bud. And Maxx will be seeing your boy in the backfield regularly. Count on it.

Apples and oranges. Carr could make all the throws but his mistakes are costly. AOC doesn’t have Carr arm talent, but can make progressions and if he can take care of the ball and not turtle every time a dl gets in the backfield, he will do some things better than Carr. Hopefully AOC doesn’t lose his fearlessness to make tight throws.

Yeah as much as I’d like to have Maye, unless we lose out, which I dont want to happen, it will be too expensive. If we go on a run here the last 8 games and barely miss or squeeze into the playoffs I wouldn’t want to trade all that capital away when you could use it to build around what you’ve got.
