They look WAY better than the store bought ones!
Can you outsource things and go to a restaurant when you have to see them, instead? At least they wouldn’t be in your house that way
I love the crested ones, aka Punk Pigeons. So squeaky!
Windy and grey in the northern suburbs, but no rain yet
Macpac socks are good - you can get thinner general ones that fit in regular shoes, not just the thick ones for hiking. They’re a bit expensive though
Don’t you forget about me, Simple Minds
Crossing everything for you! 🤞🏼
👋🏼 I’ve got the Rona which seems to be making mine extra weird
Haha, yeah. I reckon quite a few kids’ shows had that influence.
The theory in our household is that Upsy Daisy is based on Ari Up (punk rocker with dreads).
I personally like the soothing voiceover by Derek Jacobi, too.
It’s such a good show. I recommend ‘in the night garden’, too
I remember that! It took out heaps of people
I’ve found Cetaphil to be good for sensitive skin, and I think QV is ok, too
That’s a relief! I used to get toothaches from sinus issues, and they went away when the sinus thing got better. Usually just at the point where I’d make a dental appt to fix the ‘problem’ tooth.
It tasted a lot better than it looked!
Perfect thing for this weather!
I made corn chowder today, which looks like a pot of milky sludge… hopefully it turns out ok
People are so surprised when you tell them, too. It’s like they expect you were lifting boulders or stopping a runaway bus, when it’s, nah, I just sneezed/bent down slightly. So unfair
My best effort so far has been throwing my back out very badly by bending down to pick up a tea towel
I live near one of the railway crossings they turned into an overpass, and the whole time our street was blocked off at the train line people kept doing that. They would drive up to the barrier then get shitty because it was hard to turn around due to parked cars. It’s like they’d read the signs but still think, nah, I’m special, that doesn’t apply to me.
I’m grateful that my bout of covid hasn’t been too bad, and I should be able to be out ‘n about soon
