Hello, my name’s Allen. I’m here to share my various train photos, news, and advocacy.
Focused mainly on British Columbia and Ontario, Washington and Oregon states but sometimes I will post a couple other adventures from where I’ve gone!

Our third participant and final challenger: in the southwest corner is the Seattle Monorail. Even if it is the shortest, oldest, most expensive to ride, and has the fewest stops of the three, it will not be outdone as it soars above the city at a higher speed to Seattle Center.

In the northwest corner, we have a challenger, the Seattle Streetcar South Lake Union Line (known informally as the South Lake Union Trolley). Traveling to Lake Union, this train is sponsored at nearly every stop and is wrapped from head to toe. Will the funny abbreviated nickname be enough to take on its competition?
In the southeast corner, we have the match favorite, the Link Light 1 Line!
Traveling underground through the Westlake area, the link light is sure to take you the farthest, from Northgate to all the way past the airport.

This one is interesting. The Abt system is only between two stations on a steep grade and a separate locomotive shunts with the train, not shown here.
The picture is of the beautiful and unique station that is located on top of the bridge.
I’ve ridden this one, and I would recommend earplugs if you have sensitive ears.
One of the better functioning streetcar routes in Toronto. The most iconic spot for the 501 King streetcar is under the Atlantic Ave. Rail bridge.

Yes! May you see it? No (come back tomorrow).
P.S.: If anyone has any tips to get Lemmy link posts to work from Mastodon, please enlighten me. Thanks.
I like both!
