I just don’t see what people think “time” is going to do for him. He missed a bunch of wide open receivers yesterday, his arm doesn’t look exceptionally strong, he doesn’t seem to be able to move through progressions fast enough, and he can’t look receivers off the ball. I mean, give any college QB enough time and they could overcome this issues, but I just don’t get what about him is good enough to warrant that time

He absolutely needs to beat MIN, LAC, IND, and DEN, and I think one of three vs MIA and KC for sure gets him the job. Personally I think they should consider him anyway, but I think if he loses more than one against those first 4 teams I mentioned, he could be out
