I do think some of the larger ones may end up being their own instance in the federation, both to help reduce burden, and to help ensure stability of their content. It will be interesting to see which ones are able to be self-funding through donations (or even ad monetization/corporate sponsorship in some edge cases.)
@troyunrau That specific art is modeled on the Apollo Command Module, aside from changing to oval windows that resemble Dragon 2.
Orion has four windows with the door off on the side compared to them.
Starliner also has the door off to the side, with two windows next to each other.
Dragon 2 has a distinctive change in slope just below the door which isn’t present on Apollo/Orion/Starliner, because the other designs all opted for separate launch escape systems instead of integrating them with the capsule.
