Do yourself a favor and deep dive the history of this franchise. We’re the reason the NFL exists at all because of the late, great Al Davis. As far as I’m concerned, we’re the crown jewel of the NFL and anybody that says different is wrong.

Learn about the godfather of the NFL, John Madden.

Learn about the pioneering diversity of the Raiders and start with Tom Flores.

You can also research how Al Davis had perpetual beef with everyone, from Pete Rozelle, to the city of Oakland, to the city of LA, to Marcus Allen.

Check out the story of Bo Jackson and how he became a two-sport legend.

Check out how the Raiders affected pop culture and how it became associated with West Coast gangster rap.

You can’t understand the modern Raiders without understanding where the modern Raiders started. Learn about Jon Gruden’s first stint.

Look up the Charles Woodson and Tim Brown.

Look up the tuck rule and how that launched Tom Brady’s career. Watch the AFCCG highlights from the Titans game and the subsequent story about the Super Bowl against Tampa (who was coached by Jon Gruden).

My personal choice for “fuck this team the most” is the Packers. I have too many entitled Packers fans in my life that need humbling and us beating them for the first time in my life is a start.
