I find it a bit misleading to focus on retractions. Articles being retracted is a necessary thing, and there is nothing more suspicious than a place that never retracted anything.

What matters here is obviously the nature of the retractions, the source of the problem, which generally means whether it’s a fraud or not.

Instead of lowering costs, remove capitalism and make doctors actually care about health rather than their paycheck and everything will work much better than a stupid AI.

As for accuracy, that’s bullshit, you cannot measure medical success through the metric of valid diagnostics. A doctor is supposed to give a diagnosis that is reasonable based on a context ; an AI will try to find the answer that seems the most “likely” according to some data without any understanding of the context or risks.

This shit is really the same crap that happened with people eating radioactive crap thinking it would make them stay healthy, simply because it was the new cool tech. The difference being that radioactivity is a physical concept independent from human bullshit, while AIs are made by stupid humans, for stupid users, using human stupidity as its only source of information. It exacerbates the worst of humanity and frankly, isn’t developed enough (and society isn’t developed enough) to have a real use.

It’s a bit absurd to consider money and fame as success, unless you’re a crazy capitalist.

Well for example there is a whole episode where “woke” people are mocked by showing them as ignorant and pathetic, to the point where it ends with one them offending themselves and exploding out of the frustration.

And to quickly surf above random other examples, the whole Reverend thing is showing that it was mostly the victims’ fault for being too stupid while joking about rape, the character of Lillian is used to spit out a lot of racist shit because “she’s a funny old woman” but she’s still shown as a nice person somehow ; there’s an episode showing one of the victims trying to become a kidnapper too (wtf?) but ending up being taken seriously by no one because everyone automatically assumes that as a stupid woman she’s basically nothing more than a housewife.

Each episode gets worse than the next and conveys increasingly immoral viewpoints, so I’d frankly question your wife’s morals if she really liked the show.

At the beginning it’s just ambiguous, the jokes seem to try to tackle racism and discrimination while being a little discriminatory here and there, but overall not so bad. But the more the show progresses, the more it shifts into a lot of crap, spitting shit that you can tell directly comes from “anti-woke” bullshit and other far-right ideology.

Even the character of the rapist sect leader is sort of shown in a “more stupid than evil, and actually funny” view, which I still cannot understand
