Meiner Meinunt nach sind 12€ im Monat mehr als fair. Wenn ich am PC sitze, habe ich meistens Youtube auf dem 2ten Bildschirm offen, für Musik Gameplay etc. Das läuft oft einfach nebenher, ohne dass ich wirklich aufmerksam zuschaue. Da kommen bei mir (z.B. Im Homeoffice) gut 10+ Stunden am Tag zusammen. Das kostet YT eine Menge an Traffic/Stromkosten etc.

Zudem die Channels ja auch noch einen Teil des Geldes abbekommen.

Wenn man dann noch bedenkt, dass man auch noch YT Music (Bei weiten nicht so gut wie andere Streamingdienste, aber nicht auch nicht schlecht) dazubekommt, ist das m.M. nach kein schlechter Preis.

I’m having the same problems. (Or at least, a very similar problem) After downloading the update, I couldn’t access any of my instances. The feed wouldn’t load with a generic error message “Something went wrong”.

After deleting and reinstalling the app via Testflight all my logins were gone. Okay, that was expected. But trying to log in again, I encountered the same error message as in your Github issue across multiple instances. (https://github.com/buresdv/Mlem/issues/188)

I hope a fix can be found for this!!

Since updating to 0.0.7, I can no longer load posts from any Lemmy instances. I’m only getting the generic “Something went wrong” error.

I tried the following 3 instances, same error on all of them:

• lemmy.ml
• feddit.de
• lemmy.world

As all 3 instances were working before the update and are still accessible in the browser, I’m kinda assuming that it’s a problem caused by the update? I already shared feedback via testflight, but the error message is very generic.
